Our dear friend, Pete had a heart attack and stroke last Friday and Saturday. He is recovering with physical and speech therapies. He is in good spirits and he welcomes visitors. He will be living with skilled nursing assistance until further notice. We will miss him singing with us, but mainly, we will miss his cheerful smile and his generous and kind nature.

He is at Paradigm in Jersey Village. The doors open at 8:30 am and visiting is available until 9 pm. There is no appointment necessary. His room is RM 134. The nurses request no more than 6-7 persons at a time in his room. He does not currently have a roommate.

A note from Kevin

Dear HCS:
A few weeks ago, I asked that we make it a goal to have notes and rhythms learned by April 15th so we can concentrate on the musicality and finer aspects of our artistic performance. We are making good progress. However, I want to continue to encourage you to practice your music prior to each Monday rehearsal (we have some great practice files online). If we can do this at some level, it will make a huge difference in our Monday rehearsals and ultimately our performance.
The faster we get the notes and rhythms learned, the faster we can become the music! 🙂

Looking forward to our next rehearsal together on this glorious music!
Thank you,
